The last trip home in the blowing snow, wind, ice a few weeks back just about did me in! I was a mess when I got home! My hubby can't understand my fear of driving in the stuff! Might have something to do with the fact that I was in an accident in really bad icy, snowy conditions when I was a kid! He tells me to grow up and grow a pair...makes me so dang mad at times! He would drive me to school, work etc. So the first time I had to drive in Denver.....well let's just say it was a good thing that we lived out in booneville....where the worse thing I could crash into was barbed wire, cuz I was slipping and sliding everywhichway. I still hate to drive in the snow and ice. So sista, I'm with you....dirty words in the snow and all. Wrong! Because it hardly ever rains, oil and rubber and stuff build up on the streets, then when it does rain this layer is like black ice. Many a car is wrecked. So I hate driving in the rain.
