Random Five Friday...

with Nancy at A Rural Journal gives up a chance to post random thoughts about anything.
 1.  The cattle don't care what I wear when I'm bringing feed.  Not a word was said about my pink boots, my red leg warmers or my triple layers of bulky clothes.  They were simply glad to see me.

We could take a lesson from them.
2.  The deer are more cautious.  Between snow melts they search for food but they seem to be faring well.
3.  Life goes on around us despite the fickle weather.  We help with what we can.  A new calf greets her first sunrise.
4.  Grateful to see a Turkey Vulture instead of the aggressive New World Vultures that sometimes attack animals rather than cleaning up the dead.
5.  We are weary of winter and eagerly awake spring.

Random Five Friday

Every one gets along
Flags still fly
Snow has melted.
Sun fills the sky.
Counting this one
That's my five.

Random Five Friday...

My computer popped and died.

The Senior football team, The Bearkatz, enter the conference with 8/2 record.

My computer croaked.

The temperatures are dropping more quickly than I am prepared for and there is much winterizing to be done.

The Queen Anne's Lace has survived our heavy frosts and shares her beauty with me.

Tomatoes on the kitchen window sill
The tail wagging the dog
Half of a Bear Claw quilt block
I do not iron.
I was trained on Dad's work clothes using the sprinkler bottle.
Nope, not gonna do it...EVER!
Slow progress on my new water feature.

And there are five random facts about me and mine.  Join A Rural Journal with your five.
