SkyWatch and Febreze

My hubby is an amazing yet trying man, if I haven't mentioned that. He does all the farm work he can from the seat of his tractor but rarely, rarely does he do house work.

So this question had me wondering...do we have any of that febreze stuff? I said what stinks. He said where is it. After giving him the location of one bottle he quickly locates the other bottle. Now this has my curiosity peaked. What is this man thinking?

I stepped into his tv room and he was spraying the dog, Maggie!!!! He said she stinks. I said brush her and the smell will go away. He continues to spray her and asked me if I had sprayed her. No, I did not think of it. Well, she acts like you sprayed her.

I leave them to their smell party. Then Den comes in and says, while standing in front of the vacuum, where is the vacuum cleaner. I said I don't know and he locates one, not the one in front of him, but the one in another room.

Then you're not going to believe this...he vacuums the whole tv room and may have vacuumed Maggie too, I did not stay to watch.

I am in shock!

Wonderful, sweet, hubby is cleaning the tv room!!! He even spot cleaned the couch!!!

I step into a hair free, clean smelling room, with Maggie out of site.

I think this guy is a keeper!

I'm Back!!!!!!!!!!!

A skywatch photo!

What you can see of our house before the power line broke.

One of the pecan trees Mom and Dad planted when they got married.

Thank you all for worrying, checking and praying for us.

This has been an experience that I can talk about for hours but will try not to talk that long.

We finally got power today after eight long dark days. There are many more thousands without power that may not have it restored until March.

Utility poles have snapped like toothpicks. Trees that survived the tornado last spring have now been splintered. It is a whole new landscape.

We survived. No one is hurt and no building bit the dust except for Beverly's shed. Marcy had the fireplace and cooked on it. We had propane and candles and a camp stove. And of course we are in a wonderful spring fed valley and I know how to haul water in a bucket.

I do know now why I have a washer and dryer since my trip to the laundry mat. Hope I do not have to do that again for another thirty years!
I crossed my fingers when I booted up the computer. I was on when our line broke. After a few adjustments everything seems to be working.
The most wonderful thing is getting back to y'all. I missed hearing about your adventures everyday. I am also doubly blessed since you did notice I was missing.
