The Portal To Fall

Sun's light reflection reminds me of a space portal
but fall is really a time portal.
The poke berries ripen for the animals to eat.
Colored leaf in spring water
The fields have seeded
and the trees show a hint of fall color
Wild flowers give a last hurrah as they share their pollen
Color shows more
as fallen leafs fill the creek.
We wait for precious rain.

October for Poetry Jam

October
The bull can breathe fire
Shadows lengthen
Fruit weeps for spring
We ponder
About life's web
And other things

Been Playing Again...

I have no photo program nor would I know how to use one if I did.  I'm almost computer illiterate but I'm learning, slowly and surely.  I had a place I could make collages, now I've forgotten where that was...oh, well.
Fall is entering our valley,
the fog lays low,
and the poke berries weep in colors.
Green remains on the ground and in some trees,
but not for long,
Autumn has arrived and she brings her own wardrobe.
