Sometimes I just write words on paper when they cross my mind. They may develop into something or may be doomed to lie on the paper as only words.
This week's randomness:
The memory of past lives stay in the soul
Have you ever fished in Brooklyn
Holiday minus Holy
Inalienable Rights
All one pattern in different colors
Human doings not human beings
Reverse discrimination
We never forget the dead. It's the price of living.
The edge is where we fall off.
All those words lonely on my page, random bits of me searched for this...
a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Memory...Gone!
Then I got this picture. Who knows how but I thought, Kinda artsy, I'll keep it. Yes, that is the moon in the middle. Maybe all these circles were my guardian angels. Goodness knows I need the help.
As the evening progressed I discovered I could answer many of the questions some shows now post between commercials so you will keep watching to discover the correct answer. Where does all this useless knowledge come from??? I've discovered I knew ten million people in the US owned pianos, that Cairn terriers continually change colors, and the record weight of a Blue Catfish.. Could you tell me please when this sort of information might EVER come in handy.
I need to know important things like...Where are my glasses? Where did I set my tea glass? and Where is the book I was just reading?

Revelations and Random Thoughts
I have never seen the movie "Titanic". Why, you may ask. I know how the story ends...ship sinks, people die...don't want to watch it.
I heard a story once that called a woman a holly hock. The description ot the flower said, Does well behind barns and outhouses but no good in beds.
I think the government has too much power. I believe we are slowly losing our rights as individuals and as a nation. I think we should fix our own nation before we send money we do not have to other countries.
I believe in a Higher Power.
I believe I should probably stop talking now. Have a great weekend.

Thinking...
I see the gray in Lil's hair
and think of mine.
I frosted my hair for years,
Nature now provides the frosty highlights...
for free.

Early Morning Thoughts...
I had a post planned for this morning but I woke to the sound of rain and was so excited, my plan went out the window. We are so dry, any rain will be greatly appreciated and enjoyed. I was beginning to think I was going to experience the Dust Bowl Dad always talked about.
There is nothing like the sound of sweet, slow rain falling outside my window. I know every drop is soaking into the ground. This is music!
I am dreaming of retirement but so far, only a dream. Hubby will have no job by the end of November, the first time in his life he has had no job. I think he is planning on being my Sugar Baby while I continue to work. I am already compiling a Honey-Do list...I am on my third page, very full, tightly written pages!
You who know me well, also know I have an obsession with animals, particularly dogs and horses. I have been chewing on a plan to raise dogs...I know, I know, there are millions of strays who need a home! I am speaking of something that will bring income where it is needed.
I do love the terriers, heck, I love all breeds, but the terrier has always fascinated me. I did my research and decided Border terriers...not too common around here, a calmer terriers, little grooming, a working dog, very few health problems, good with children, da, da, da... Well, I can't even touch one for less that $1500!! and sometimes that does not come with breeding rights. I could buy three horses or cows with that kind of money!!!
I don't want to raise lap dogs, I want to raise a small working, intelligent dog that is an easy keeper, easily trained, and with a great attitude that can be a lap dog if you want it to be.
I am looking at Cairn, Scotties, Norwiches, and Borders. Wish me luck or talk me out of it...your choice.
It is still raining so nothing will dampen my spirits today. I must go wake the crew to begin their day.

Tuesday Morning...
and, again, I am awake early. I can not blame this on the full moon. I blame it on my mind, it wakes and won't stop thinking and sleep goes out the window. You would expect someone that thinks so much to accomplish a lot...not the case.
There is a taste of fall in the air, and I am not ready. The summer was too blasted hot to even allow me to pretend I enjoyed summer.
I had a gentleman offer me a white, deaf Boxer yesterday for free, full of puppies to come, boxer puppies. He did not mention the deafness but when I asked, knowing this is common in white boxers, he admitted it. You would have been proud of me, knowing my weakness for anything canine, I said no. It was good, he did not have her with him, I would have caved instantly.
Another missed football game last night...in Yellville. The game began before I left work. Papa was there for support. Another win, a big win and yet Andrew is disappointed with no touch downs. He did have a two point conversion, a forty yard gain in one play, an interception and lots of tackles. I try to tell him, each person in an integral part of the team, and everything that is done, adds to the success of the whole. Sometimes, this is a hard concept for adults, much less a fourteen year old.
My followers are growing and that is a delight! Thank you.

Nothing To Crow About
Some Random Thoughts
Have you noticed how "accidents" (like this picture) actually turn out better than what you had planned in the first place?
Sometimes life is that way. That may mean Some One else is in charge and it wasn't an accident after all.
It is difficult to capture a rooster in midcrow.
Spring is one day closer!

As We Head Into Fall...
The days are shorter but thank goodness we have had plenty of rain and we are going into fall with lots of green grass and hay in storage. Our stock will be fed and for that we are grateful.
~
The garden has been good although my sisters have battled with armadillos, rabbits, deer and bugs, we still have had and are having a good harvest. All sorts of food have been dried, frozen and canned. We will be fed and for that we are grateful.
~
From the terrible ice storm last year and the tornado the year before, we have processed many fence posts, fire wood and chairs. We shall be warm, new fences built and chairs to enjoy and for that we are grateful.
~
Now, I am not grateful for ticks from the spot backs down to the seed ticks, I deplore each and every size, shape and color. Mosquitoes are right there on my list with the ticks. I am sure they have some ultimate, truly unique purpose in our wonderful world but I see no purpose. I also dislike the tiny bugs that are only out a short time during the year, but they bite like heck and you can't see them.
~
Chiggers don't like me so I shall not badmouth them today.

Random Thoughts
Sometimes life is just a balancing act and you have to center yourself or you fall.
Some days are so foggy you cannot see the direction to take or know what the right choice is.
There is always color somewhere, if we just keep looking, we will see it.
