at last!!! Sadly, for Maggie, there was also thunder and lightening. I do not know why she is fearful. We got her as a puppy and nothing has happened to scare her this way. She shakes and wants to be close. This is unusual for the usually fearless Border Collie. 
I sat with her on the porch, except when I was taking pictures of her terror, reassuring her and loving her until the thunder passed.
Maggie finally calmed and went to sleep.
