I followed the dust storm.

It dawned on me what happened to those who followed the Pied Piper. 

Hello, Spring!

Spring has arrived at the water garden.  Irises are coming to life and the money plants are growing.

The winter bulbs are showing their colors

as they celebrate spring.

They lean toward the sun after a long winter.

Soon, Spring will be a well-dressed lady.

Fertilizer Day

In between the spring rains is the perfect time to fertilize.  The ground was still wet from three days ago with more rain coming in later in the week.

My job was to follow and drive where the fertilizer ended, sometimes I was off and got a few pellets in the ranger.  This is a dry crossing that takes the pond over flow down to the creek.

Spreading the gold and I do mean gold!  This little container holds three tons.  That translates into over a thousand dollars.  At least it is tax-deductable and it did cover all we needed to feed.

The horses did not like the spreader!
