has arrived. It is cool enough this morning to need some heat in the house and a jacket outside. The wind sends the cold right to the bone. By most standards, this is not cold but yesterday we were sweating so I am calling today cold. The sun is shining. This is good.
Kubota King has a new toy, a fence auger.
His first post, not quite straight yet.
The top pasture we intend to fence.
May your day be wonderful and filled with sunshine.

Wow look at those rough hewn posts! Too cool!
My dad thought to make some fence posts out of railroad ties one season...that was too hard...fist you have to whittle the ends smaller..dig a fabulously large hole (they are 12 feet long) and youy get the picture..practiccaly have to have a tractor to raise them into the hole too!
he only got a few in before "Free Railroad ties" got old!
Sorry it is cold...we are getting our blast of heat for now..but it is Oregon and who knows..she is fickle!
GOOD TO HAVE YOU BACK!!!!

Have you been gone, Gail? Where were you? Were you into hiding?
We got the cold again today too. Sweatshirt and leggings for me today [I don't want to turn the heat on - stupid gas co.] and a blanket on my lap.
I wish the weather would make up it's mind. Well at least it has stopped raining, for now, eh? :)
ug! doesn't sound like a job I would want to do...even with a Kubota King and an auger!! I am learning how hard one works to keep a farm going..I would be forever running to the dreaming porch..dreaming it was all done!! :)
Wow! That's some auger and tractor combined. It's nice when you don't have to hand dig the holes yourself.
I'm admiring your gorgeous pasture, too. Our grass is suffering from a very dry Spring and winter. It's spit rain only 3 times in 6 months here.
We are dry.....

I'm amazed by all of the work you seem to get done in your off time from your other job. When do you sleep? Woman, it's time for lie down, isn't it?
You have done so much work. I am in awe. Did you make the post out of wood on the farm? We were cold today too.
Blackberry winter, I've never heard that term. The auger is nice, digging post holes is a pain.
We had cold temps like that last week. Now we have gone from the pleasant 70's to the high 90's all in the span of two days! The nights are still chilly and we still might get one more frost...but I feel summer in the air now for sure!
Love the new toy....hate digging post holes by hand!
The auger looks very handy. My husband has one of those hand diggers.
Loving that tractor, kudos to you guys for getting alot of use out of it. I love fence augers, they are so cool to watch, guess those are REAL cedar posts:) We are working our way to HOT weather real soon. However, this morning it was a little chilly out, kind of nice in the sunshine.
