My epiphany for the day is; Even if you are a big brown rock, when the light is right, you can sparkle!
a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

More I Should Not Show
Here is the beautiful sunrise going to work. Of course I missed it because the thoughtless people on the highway were trying to get to work and would not let me slow down to take a picture. They were on my bumper and whizzing by in the opposite lane just like they did not want me to take a picture of the glorious sunrise.
This is an awesome picture of a buzzard standing on a hay bale with his wings outstretched. It is also a picture of him taking flight showing his magnificent wing span as he took off, hovering low and then climbing with the sun reflecting off his midnight black wings and his bald head. Heck, I missed the whole hay bale, it was close to the road and I even turned around to take the picture and he waited on me.

What a beautiful sunrise. It almost makes the drive to work worthwhile. Almost.
I love your epiphany.
Love the sparkly rock!!
I love interesting rocks, too. Amazing the wonder you can find beneath your feet.
Some people can be so inconsiderate---just when you've found the right spot for a photograph!
Love this Gail. I still think the sunrise shot is pretty dang cool. I love your sense of humor. I need to remember your epiphany inspired by the big brown rock :) Somedays more than others.
Great rock picture! My sister is a geologist. When she goes on vacation, most of her vacation pictures look like your rock pic! She always includes her feet, for scale.
I wish folks would slow down and notice the beauty all around them...like you have.
And maybe I should stand outside in pretty light. I could use some sparkle! :)
