by Robert Whitlow is my current reading book. It is a refreshing change from other books I've read.
I would like to share some of his words directly from the book...
"...her tanned face now lined with wrinkles that were the road map to a hundred different ways to smile."
"...could wash a fifty-cent plate and enjoy a million dollar view."
"...daffodils would jump out of the ground in clumps of yellow celebration all across the back yard."
"There are all kinds of jail. One of the worst is the prison of wrong thinking."
It is a fictional tale of a lawyer turned minister...now, we know this shows great imagination. It is a crime drama, I suppose, but it is peppered with wisdom and also includes faith comments that seemed to come when I needed them most.
The writing style hooked me, the tale has reeled me in...and no, I was not paid to write this...and, no, I won't tell you how it ends.
