People
One by one
Different
Than the last
Come to look
Walking
Down
Memory lane
They smile
And buy
Memories
That were lost
Or merely forgotten
We sell
The past
And the younger years
Are quite a commodity
For the challenge at Imaginary Garden With Real Toads.
a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

The Mag 188 Laying Stones
I laid the stones
One by one
Making the path easy
To the crashing sea
To the place
We deemed the trees
Stood for you
Me and our love
Below the stormy sky
I waited until
All was dark
You never came
Laying
Remembering
Your rough whiskers
Against my face
Clearing skies
Winking stars
All said Get over it
Move on
