a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

A Combined Challenge Dancing With Fate

Picture compliments of The Nice Cage Blog "writing from the underbelly of comfort."  Izy Gruye is a newly discovered blogger by me that has great talent.  Imaginary Garden With Read Toads is featuring Play It Again.  This is an opportunity to meet several challenges they have had in the past.  I chose this photo from Izy's blog and have added the Sunday Whirl's Wordle to challenge myself more.
Dancing With Fate

I gave a penny to a Tarot reader
To make sense of the dark plague
That was my life
She said, "Dancing and praying
Is all you have left
I see a gun.  Beware!"

So I danced in the cemetery
During the Blood Moon
To seduce my fate
I danced not alone
But
With a dreadful creature

A kiss was my price
The camera lay where I fell
I forgot to levitate!

Seraphine

For Imaginary Garden with Real Toads  presenting the art of Seraphine

I hear you Serpahine
In every image bold
You allow the paints
To speak your name
As you protect your soul

I feel a kinship
In your art
In your life
I understand
Your dreams
Seraphine

To paint after
Work was done.
I know
The Insanity
That
Came
With your setting sun.

To paint until
There is nothing
More
Then quietly
Gracefully
Leaving pieces
Behind
You exit to
No More.

Paint on, you miscreants!
Paint on
Until there's
Nothing left but
White Coats
Knocking
On
Your
Door!
