The Continuance of Chairs

A tiny expensive can

but well worth it.

Continuing on the old one we did in the shop

It's stained.

Now to glue the back piece and replace the seat.

The chair had joined the odd chair collection.

In search of the next and final odd chair...

then I may create something from the ones I don't want.

Always a surprise, even to me.

Getting By With A Little Help From My Friends...

is not only one of my favorite songs

but it's the only way to get things done quickly.

This was our last big load.

Holy moly!

These church pews were HEAVY!

Toni rented a trailer for the last big load.

I have not counted the trips

nor the gas

nor the sweat.

Each one way trip was 52.96 miles or one hour and twelve minutes if you hit the lights right.  I  know Toni would have done the same for us.  Maybe two more trucks, sweeping the units, and disposing of the cardboard properly and we will be done.

Today the reward for the help was cool spring water, a fishing adventure and swimming in the creek.

Soon we can clean vehicles and store our moving shoes for a while.
