a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Tenword

The prompt is to limit your piece to only ten words, if I read it correctly, with any theme.  I am too verbose to say anything in just ten words but I gave it a shot.  I could not stop with one! Surprised?

1.
Catching snowflakes
on the tongue is
a winter sporting event

2.
Each moment with you
enhances the truth
     you are my life

3.
In my dream
home glass is
warm
thick
always clean

Giving it a shot. That's what life's all about...trying.  (And that's another ten!)  Happy Weekend.

This is an interesting form; almost American haiku. I may have to play with this one.
About that glass...yes.

Oh I'm glad you linked. Isn't the tenWord a great exercise for tight writing. I'm going to try it with some of my self-rejected manuscripts--things I've edited out of novels etc.

I specially admire that last one ~ Winter is so cold here that I don't dare stick out my tongue, ha ~

my ten word question is why would I try this?

there I did it. but WHY? Why, why Did I?

LOL I am not a poet and I do know it...
i talk like a machine gun and just like that gun it is hard to stop me once I get going...

All three of them tell a story all on their own, but you could easily read them altogether just as well. You did a good job incorporating this challenge into your own personal writing style.

Keeping it to just ten words is next to impossible.

Writing something with a limit of a few words is really challenging. I should know. I wrote some 6-word stories too.

Bravo to you for writing 3 amazing ones. :)
