After The Fencing...

I was grateful for the natural sauna, the exercise, and the opening of my sinuses...all free. Didn't have to have a membership in anything.  Good hard work has lots of benefits.

Felt like taking a short walk, so the dogs and I strolled along the creek.
The water was crystal clear and spring cold.
The boys are enjoying the shallow spring branch.
Heading for deeper water,
no longer clear from all the swimming.
Look closely for the water skater
and his shadow.
Every one cooled off.
And we mustn't forget stick-loving Lil
enjoys the water too.

Let It Snow!

Ice coated wire against the sky by Marcy
A Sunday morning walk with dogs...
Silly me, two pairs of socks, leg warmers, some wonderful warm mittens and clothes in layers did not keep out the cold.  The sun deceived me.  The crystals of ice reflected the sun.  Did I tell you, it was cold?
Too much snow for me!
How deep in your snow?
Ours is dog deep!

My Sunday Walk

Oh, yea, a walk, a walk!

Lil gets a stick and lies in wait for me.

After the last stick, Lil chooses a larger one this time.

Flakes and Fungi

You really think I am going down that bank?

Since we had a heat wave in the teens, I incorrectly thought it was warm enough for a walk with the dogs.  It was not.  The dogs loved it but I quickly discovered it was still very cold and I did not go far.
