Sometimes I Go Out

in the real world but not often.  This day we had errands to run.  We needed hydraulic fluid for the tractor (liquid gold) filters and oil for the tractor and the gator too.
Hubby has to keep his toys running well
and sparkly clean.
He dislikes pictures and tried to run me off with the water hose.
It didn't work.
Nephew Toni, Hubby and I decided it was a good day to visit Fred's Fish House.  We had enough for another meal.
I had frog legs and fish.
Saved the frog bones.
Toni said his mom and I were only people he knew
that saved bones from their food.
I've some wonderfully creative ideas for my frog legs.

Double or Nothing...

Dark Harbor, 1943, N. C. Wyeth
"Drop one, drop one"
They chanted
In their outside voices
The leader held them back
With wings and words
"Fishermen always share
Learn patience"

Ever Changing Water Garden

It began with this stone
which gave me an idea
then sweet Hubby brought me another.
I dug, planned and gathered rocks.
This is first stone at the bottom
second at top
and here comes the third and biggest
It makes a great place to sit
and will make a wonderful water fall
if I decide to expand.
Almost there..wild fern, reeds and moss are planted.
Fish were added
and the frogs are making themselves at home.
Still have some tweaking and improving.
I imagine it will always be a work in progress.

Fred's Fish House...

The day of errands we ran many places.  The one Hubby enjoyed most was Tractor Supply and Fred's Fish
House.  This was Fred's decor.  I do believe I embarrassed him by taking pictures.  He hasn't run around with me much lately.
Many may have enjoyed this but I am glad the turkey was not hanging over my plate.  It is stuffed after all.

Hubby had the fish with potato and beans.  I had frog legs and fried green tomatoes.  Nope, they did not know how to cook any of what I had.  Covered with Chicken Fried Steak batter and then cooked.  Ugh!  I ate one tomato, didn't touch my frog legs and boxed it up for home.

With the CFS batter removed they were quite a tasty dish for my supper, so lunch out became my dinner in.
