I went for a walk.
Flooded dry creeks were fun to explore
Lil and TP enjoying the flooding crossing
The dry creek behind Marcy's house
TP is sticking her nose under water and blowing bubbles.
Don't ask me why.

This is the flooded creek. Cutter had to swim. The water is usually clear and wonderful but water flooded from the clay roads and made all the runoff water red. It will clear soon.

Wonderful photography! I didn't grow up on a farm but my best friend as a youngster lived on one and my favorite weekends were the ones when I would go and stay out at his place. Love the country - and my favorite vacation is rustic camping in the woods.
Nice blog - I'll be back. :)

Too bad the water got so mucky. It must be good for something. Sediment down the creek? Those dogs sure are having a ball. City dogs don't get to do those kinds of things.
My dogs would be so jealous if they knew what kind of fun your dogs can have. I love photo of the frog on the lily pad.
Happy wet dogs! You are so lucky to have a creek running through your property.

That must have been some rain! Probably one of those rain storms that dumps a ton of rain in a short amount of time kind of thing. Looked like the dogs really enjoyed their romp in the water...=)
