The Watchers

Do you think
they may be simply
watching the last rose of Autumn?

A beautifully perfect rose. No, make that perfectly beautiful. And the color is delicious, like apricot. They are certainly intent on something.

That's why they're called "watch" dogs. You KNEW some smart alec was going to say that; didn't you?

Never know. Maybe they were watching for a good stick to fall. ^_^

You are lucky to still have a rose, Gail.

If we ever dry out, I am going to see if the volunteer tomatoes are still alive.

Hope you all have a blessed week, Gail. ♥

If only they could talk, the things they could tell you about about what they have seen and smelled and heard.

It could be! Because that's a beautiful rose.

Again, still envious you still have a rose left. They certainly are intent yet also look like they are miles away in their thought. Maybe thinking about the cold to come.

Your pups are always so happy! I know they love living there with so much to do. They must sleep well at night. :)

I can't decide which is more beautiful, the furkids or the yellow rose, I love them all! <3

I have a feeling that not too much gets past them. They work hard, but take time for R & R, too.

Perhaps, they are taking in the scent of the day!

That could very well be what they are looking at...either that or waiting for Santa to arrive!

Dogs in waiting. My old fella can't hear much, so he sits, waiting for something to happen. My young girl can't wait - she runs!

I think the Booger Man was out in the woods! That's what I always figure when my dogs do that.

I doubt that . . .
They care a narry over that yellow rose!
Something else in their vision!

H-m-m....I think they are watching for when you are going to throw that stick, or maybe know what time the postman comes. ha,ha Beautiful Rose that keeps on growing. We have snow, no roses. Have a wonderful day.

Hello Gail
I hope you've had a good week.
That rose is most beautiful, and a very nice shade too.

Love the dogs watching ... waiting.

Enjoy the remainder of Friday and I hope the up-coming weekend is good for you

All the best Jan
