may finish me off! I have weeded one rock porch. I do not lay rock porches with mortar, I use what I have, which is sand and rock. Occasionally these need to be hand weeded especially since we have had so much rain.
Here is the one I just weeded...two ice cream buckets full.
Here is the one awaiting my loving labor. Can you tell the difference?
Maggie patiently watches but does not offer to help.
I am getting tired but not tired enough to go back to my real job yet.

No wonder, despite your injured foot, you are managing to keep very busy. Never a dull moment for you, Gail. You don't have time to go back to work. I'm thinking early retirement and fool time ranching.
That was a Freudian slip, I meant full time ranching.
You are just about the most industrious person I know.
I had to laugh at Gossamer's slip.
Sorry to say, but I agree with Maggie:>)
Left you an award over at my place--no strings attached, though if you are feeling very industrious take anything you like over there:>) That meme has kept me very busy!! Put your feet up, grrrrl and enjoy that beautiful porch you've created. Even God rested a bit:>)
OMG...you must have the patience of a saint!!! You did an excellent job on that patio, and your covered porch looks like the perfect place to curl up with a cup of coffee and a good book (or a laptop...lol!!!).
Haha.."Fool Time Ranching"Lets think of what that could entail!
Gail, Such a Lovely patio!!! It isjust up my husbands alley..will take a pic of the one I started..and "HE" pertfected..I mean, he made his own tools for leveling and it turned out so nice. He found tools for cittiung bricks ar a garage sale and used them on the veneers we got to make a design too.

Please do jsut tell it here and now as I see other's wanting to know too...longtime injury or freshly injured?
Please be careful...we all need to be living to 90 and I will be preserving myself to be able to ride then too!
