We've been blessed with rain,
pollinators,
and a good growing season.
"The devil's in the details"...
or are these angels?
For a nice summer lunch we had lightly floured fried summer squash, coleslaw, brussel sprouts, tomatoes and cucumbers...all from our garden. Couldn't get much fresher than that! We are blessed.

They definitely look like angels!
Hello, you are blessed with a great harvest. I love homemade coleslaw. YUM! Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
We could use some rain here. Nice angels!
Would you please come cook for me? Bring your fresh veggies. :)
Sounds like you're eating well! :) I love having produce fresh from the garden. We've been overly blessed here with rain too, and things are growing like crazy. I've picked 100 (at least!) cucumbers already, and my tomatoes are just starting to ripen.
Oh yes the rain! The first day and night of our camping trip (just back from Wisconsin) was filled with the lovely wet stuff which made it quite the trick to set up camp! Your greenery is lovely here!
Absolutely, they are so cool!
Will you be having blessed cabbage for dinner?
Lynne x
You are blessed.
Great looking cabbage. Everything sounds yummy!
That selection of vegetables for lunch sounds so nice and home grown fresh even better ...
All the best Jan
You sure have a green thumb! The cabbage is beautiful! And it is definitely angels!!
ooooh i just LOVE eating like that!!! your cabbage is beautiful, i think it is an angel. i love homemade coleslaw with fresh cabbage, red or green!!!!
Definitely angels. What a perfectly healthy and yummy lunch you had. You will live long and prosper with grub like that.
I am getting lots of tomatoes, but no squash, no peppers, no watermelon. I have no idea why, and I know all those things grow here. Something must have gone awry.
love purple cabbage. i have to buy mine, though. :)
We dry ours in coconut oil and spices...zucchini, yellow summer squash, onions, peppers and eggplant...lots of colors...
Lovely photos . Yup fresh garden veggies are the best , hope to get into gardening and harvesting veggies next year . Thanks for sharing , Have a good weekend !
I'm at my sister's - she's the gardener in our family - and we picked about a hundred cherry tomatoes this evening. Tomorrow we'll dehydrate them and then put them in the blender to make tomato powder. Next winter we'll add some of that summer goodness to our soups. Yum! Tomorrow we'll pick the last of the green beans and maybe by Monday the purple hull peas will be ready. Love summer gardens! blessings, marlene
Loving those cabbage angels!
=)
Red cabbage Angels . . . FOR SURE . . .
Have you been canning, freezing, storing foods for winter?
Wonderful garden produce-production Gail!
Worth all the hard work?
