With My Bare Feet Planted Firmly...

I observe the early morning sky and draw my strenth from the land.  I can feel the earth's energy course through me, renewing me...and know that barefoot is the way to be.
The late calves have gone to market and the herd enjoys returning to the green of the spring valley.  The cows lowed for a few days but all is as it should be.
The horses look for fallen persimmons in the early morning sun.  This is a prized treat for them and sometimes we shake the tree where more will fall.

The sites renew me, and fill me with contentment as life continues At The Farm.

The Morning Sky...

softly rumbled as it begrudingly dropped bits of rain. I watched, driving to work.  I wanted rain but was left with the sky...the beauty melted my sourness.
The colors changed a dozen times,
the shapes changed even more.
The sun and the clouds battled for dominance of the sky.
The sun won.

A Ride...

Morning sky,
wild flowers,
new baby girl,
and Ki hitching a ride,
pieces of my day At The Farm.
