And now it becomes *very* obvious that we live in different parts of the country because those three pictures show things I have never seen before at my house! Beautiful!! Happy Sunday to you. :)
Lovely photos Gail, can tell that winter is not far off where you're at. It's getting slightly colder over here in Ireland also...Have a lovely Sunday! Hugs x
I miss your birthday! I am so sorry. I hope it was all things wonderful!! You are still just a chick..and I hope you have many, many more and that all your dreams come true. If I could MAKE it happen, I would! Love and hugs and belated best wishes! Mona
That's the first time I've seen prickly pear apples. They do look delicious and I bet they make great jam. Does it taste kind of sour? That would be my favorite.
Hoarfrost is another thing we don't have here. At least, I've never seen it. We do live in different worlds. XOX
I was entranced by the prickly pear cactus I'd see while visiting my grandmother. I was usually there when they flowered. I never had a chance to see the fruit. How interesting! Hoarfrost was another thing I had never experienced until we moved west. I love the delicate beauty of the magic crystals.

Happy Sunday!
my mom made prickly pear jelly for many years. I don't much care for jelly but I'd love to try some prickly pear jam.

Its 'very' Autumn here as well :-)
I've had prickly pear ice cream....but never jam! Bet it's good! Hope you are feeling better!
Never had that kind of jam. Bet it's good.
A belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
This convinces me you can make jam out of ANYTHING!
I have never seen prickly pear apples before! We have already had snow here...several times!

I've never had prickly pear jam, but it sounds tasty and slightly dangerous.
