Transferring Emotions To Canvas…

Now you have proof I am a mess.
Like the painting,
I am not sure which way is up.
Hope you find something that pleases you.

I love them. All.

Now that's the way to be whole. Painting to release.

I bet if you put them in an art gallery, you'll make a fortune.

OMG, are these all your own creations? You did not tell me you were an artist too!

Up in irrelevant, forward is what you seek. :)

I yearn to do something like this. I'd like to hear more! They are lovely. Great colors. Love the leaves!

Wow!
Your emotions are much more interesting than mine. Mine are all black right now. My plans for today include calling a Gotland breeder. I have been chickening out all last week. Then I received a really insensitive comment Saturday, from my own mother. ew. I'm missing Janow and Maggie so much, and she says I must be relieved to not have to go to the barn and take care of something. "Something." Please think of me today as a try to make a phone call without crying and sounding like an idiot.

Oh Gail these are incredible I am a great lover of art and you truly have a great gift. If I had to choose I am sure I could not. Incredible I can actually see your feelings all laid out in paint. I am in awe.B

I just forgot to say if this is the mess you see in your brain it is OK it is fantastic. My brain kind of sees the same way yours does. Keep going. B

These are just lovely, Gail! And they have such a lightness to them...even the ones with darker colors make me feel like hope is waiting in the wings.

The third one is my favorite, but I feel more like the fourth one today...or maybe the last. (I think I'm transitioning somewhere in between!)

=)

I like your art. Better to express what you feel than bottle it all up.

These are super, Gail. I assume that these express your emotions and they must be wonderful and complex. Is the little red color in them your heart? XOX

I failed to mention these are sections of the same painting...sorry!

Yes, I slopped the paint on last night for therapy...didn't help.

Thanks for all your kind comments.

I don't know why, but your painting makes me want to cry. I'm not sure if this is the feeling you were experiencing when painting them? But I see leaves falling, and paint going in all directions...no focus...lost. The colors are vibrant in many places, but then they become all muddled together.
Is this the way you were feeling, Gail?

Your paintings are very thought-provoking.

I think painting is good therapy. I should try it too sometime.

((((hugs)))

The third and fourth are my favorites, I think. Each seems to have a lot to say. Hey! You can write, you can paint, you raise one heck of pup, work, run a farm, a store..what the heck else can you do. I'm beginning to feel very intimidated! LOL
I love you, sweet friend!!!
