a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Sometimes, I Just Wonder...

how my man survives At The Farm.  This morning from a distance we watched him pull a hanger (a large limb, damaged and just hanging by the bark) from the pecan tree.  The limb came down but the pointed, broken end headed right for hubby, he just threw his arms up and went about his business.

He gets a lot of work done but he sure makes my hair grayer.  I am glad he has a guardian angel sitting on his shoulder.

I tell Hubs that he has survived because God watches out for fools, drunks and children. LOL He's not allowed to tell me when he's on a roof or in a basket that takes him up high or near the containers when they're being moved from ship to storage...Years ago a lady's husband (she lives in our neighborhood) who also worked at the port was walking and a container fell on him.

You're braver than I---there is no way I could watch!

Just thinking about the dangers makes me glad my husband works in an office.

Having said that, I think he would have loved doing something that involved physical labor. He's a worker.

=)

That photo is just scary. Tell him that he keeps his guardian angel too busy, and that angel needs to take some time off.

He must eat Lucky Charms for breakfast.

I love it! ...The tractor holding up the Kowasaki. The husband under the ATV. The dogs under the tractor. We have a similar Kowasaki called a Mule, but it needs parts right now. I'll have to show your photo to my husband, he'll probably laugh about it!

The picture scares me, mostly because I can totally see my husband doing the same thing!

My hubby loves to give me all the details when he does something risky on the farm and I'm not around to watch! Sometimes, I don't want to know those details!

Men and their toys/work can be so scary when they don't pay close enough attention to what's going on around them...

Yes, he must have a guardian angel. One with very strong wings. Be glad of it, though. You know he will always be alright.
