Spring Has Arrived...

The tulips are spreading out.
Beverly is planting.
The honey bees are feasting on pollen.
Poke salad is growing, ready to pick.
The horses are drawn to the fresh green grass.
The colors of spring renew the spirit of all,
At The Farm.

And I might say it has arrived not a moment too soon. We were going a little spring deprived around here. No flowers and no green for too long is too hard : )

Great pictures and those tulips remind me. I have 2 tulips that come up every year... and that is it. They just come up :)

I've always wondered what poke salad is. Remember that Credence Clearwater Revival song about poke salad Annie? (Gator's got your granny.)

So glad you are seeing some signs of Spring sweetie....I haven't heard the word poke salad in a long time...when I was a little girl I use to help our sweet neighbor.. little Mrs. Headley..pick poke salad...she would cook it and eat it like we would our collards and turnip greens...I loved Mrs. Headley...she was like a grandmother to me....thanks for that beautiful memory...hope you have a great weekend sweetie....Picket

Love the photo of the horses... made me start singing, "over the river and through the woods, to Grandmother's house we go." I know.. I'm sort of weird that way.. LOL

I've never eaten Poke Salad. I just heard that old song, "Poke Salad Annie"!

Nothing like vegetables right from the garden!

Oh wow! So pretty...green grass, flowers and water!

Our little sprinkles last week didn't make up for the 7 months without rain we've had. We really need more moisture.
