a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

This N That

The spinach is almost ready to eat.
Dirt work is serious At The Farm
and requires a team.
The irises are beginning to bloom
and May apples are coming up in the woods.
The kitchen garden is doing great
thanks to all of Beverly's and Marcy's work.
Not much time for reflection At The Farm,
lots of work and rewards to reap.

husband is in charge of the garden this year after telling me all the things I did wrong. He just planted spinach seeds even tho I told him it was far too late for spinach here. we'll see.

I've always wondered what 'may apples' are. Could you explain? The garden looks lovely and so does Zander.
