well thank you Gail, you and Natl. Geo.. have given me something else to fret about. we have these holes all over the side yard, I just said to bob what do you think dug those. OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Nature never ceases to amaze me. I watch things like this, too. There is so much going on that usually goes noticed. I really love that you share it here. Thank you, my friend.
When we were kids in Florida, there were ant lions in our garage, in the sand of the garage floor. My brothers and I used to push ants in their traps! Now I feel guilty about it....

Interesting video. I've seen those holes before and wondered. Hope they like fire ants.
So, no hill at all? That's curious, indeed!
That's what I've been stepping on....I had no idea.
Ew. It looks like an alien from space. Surely it is not an ant...just kills them.
There used to be a lot of them under our sawmill shed when I was a kid.
The video was fascinating. I never knew about these creatures!
I hope you're enjoying a great weekend!
Ants are incredible creatures. If only we people could emulate their sense of purpose and unity.

Huh. I have to pout. They are in Arkansas and Texas, but not Louisiana.
We do have odd holes in the ground in some places, so who knows?
Be safe and God bless you all, Gail.
