Making Tracks

 We all do it.
From the lowly worms that crawl
to the varied species of lizards,
the mighty Blue Heron,
and the squirrels...everything leaves its mark.
Gator tracks!  John Deere Gator that is.
Newly recycled stairs are ready for tracking.
What kind of tracks will you leave?

You know your tracks.
I hope to leave behind positive tracks.

Well, literally, usually sneaker tracks. I like to walk both comfortably and softly. I also hope that the figurative tracks I leave will be perceived as subtle, gentle, and positive. I do not like to upset the balance. I am not one to come or go with a bang.

As your sidebar prayer states:
Let us walk softly on the Earth with all living beings great and small remembering as we go, that one God, kind and wise, created all.
~Ancient Native American Prayer

Hugs, my friend.

Thoughtful post, Gail. I'd like to leave behind soft/kind tracks with respect for the earth and all living beings in it.

Awesome, awesome post!!! Such wisdom for sure, and I just love all these tracks! The worm tracks, I would never have known they were made by a worm! They look like a child dragged a stick through the dirt, that is what I would have thought. The lizard tracks are beautiful!! And just think, we get a brand new pair of steps every single morning!

You are a great track identifier. I just hope my tracks do no damage to our lovely earth.

I hope to leave "positive" tracks when I leave this earth and while I'm still on it.

What a great variety of tracks you've shared.

I have never seen lizard tracks, so pretty cool. I remember seeing your " footprint" down by your stream from a long ago post. KOOL

May God bless you all, as He did America last night.

I hope this finds you and yours doing well. May we display your header on our new site directory? As it is now, the site title (linked back to its home page) is listed, and we think displaying the header will attract more attention. In any event, we hope you will come by and see what is going on at SiteHoundSniffs.com.

We all leave our footprints on this earth, my hope is that mine are read and understood by most of those whose path they cross. I also hope to leave gentle footprints on the hearts of just a few who will remember me kindly.

Good ones I hope that show all the interesting places one can uncover! I really love going out especially in the snow with my little ones just to see what we can find!
