The Thanksgiving Spider

The spider wove its house carefully and prepared for company.
Waiting for the guests' arrival
it ran out to greet me for dinner.
I was extremely grateful I was too large.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving!! The spider not so much. O.K., maybe just one fat fly.

Did it greet you with, "I'd like to have you for dinner."?

I am not sure it was company he was waiting for, ut rather a food delivery. I admit to fear of spiders, but I do have great respect for them. You captured this very well. Happy Thanksgiving!
