I am, however, not a hot weather person. I sweat like a horse! Every inch of me lathers up when it reaches 80 degrees, please, give me air conditioning! I sweat so much, I cannot see, my clothes are dripping and always must shower as soon as I come in. Give me Spring or give me Fall but you can keep the Summer.
The dogs have the right idea, maybe I should follow in their stead and I will stay cooler.
Bambi, our Italian Greyhound
Seymour, our Spaniel
Stay cool everyone!

How warm is it supposed to be for you today?
I don't mind the rain and snow is pretty - but I love the heat and humidity. Weird I know. I won't even run the A/C in the car and I wouldn't run it in the house if the kids/Pooldad need it to sleep. It really gets hot in the bedrooms.
Hope you can stay cool - or at least get a lil' swim in today :)
I feel for you. I don't like it hot either. Spring and Fall are my favorite times of the year. In WI when the htemp reaches into the 80's and the humidity is high I wilt like a flower. Keep Cool!!!
I'm with you, I too like Spring and Fall best. But right now we belong to the "Hot Club" whether we like it or not. I have A/C and stay in the house and only step outside to see just how hot it is.
Girl, it's scalding hot here, too. I work outside until the sweat runs into my eyes and starts to sting! Then I draw the line and head in, grab a cool shower, and park my butt in front of the a/c!
It's supposed to be 89 today and 92 tomorrow. I will say that it beats 10 below zero and mountains of snow. My hot flashes aren't so bad this year so I'm hoping I'll tolerate things a bit better than last year.
I don't like the heat one bit. I think it is sent to make me suffer. Thank goodness I live in a cool country. Many temperate days. Temperatures in the 70's. I like it. I get to keep my clothes on.
My husband and I will take 60's or 70's ANY-day over 80's and up anytime! We love the rain too...good thing-Oregon is full of it!
Kac
You stay cool drink some lemon aide...get some more gel ice and put them around your neck!
I saw on the tv you are getting slammed by this high pressure system! I, too, hate those sweaty hot days..best to wade with the pooches and plug in those fans!!
Hope it moves out of your area soon!
I'm with you, Gail. It's hotter than squat here and even tho I promised I would not bitch when it finally warmed up, I'm breakin' my word. 110 heat factor today and that's just crazy.
A cruise to Alaska is sounding pretty good.
Hmmmm...I don't mind the heat as long as it is a dry heat as opposed to humidity. Unfortunately, over here in Western WA, it is usually humid and sticky. :(
Stay cool! I will be thinking of you out there! :)
The heat in AR made the news here on the west coast, heat index of 119? Good gravy! How about a rake update?
You are having some mighty HOT weather back there! We are just now creeping from the 70's into the 80's. We need some hot weather to dry out all of the wet hay on the ground!
It's so nice to hear from so many people that don't like the heat. I am so with you, but here it seems like everyone goes mad for the sun (O.K so we don't get that much in England ) but two rays and everyones out there trying to make themselves into a human spit roast).
I like winter and cosey nights by thr fire. Lovely
My first job when I was in third grade was walking an Italian greyhound for someone in our apartment building. I've always been animal crazy.
I love the heat. I hate when the air conditioning is on!
Hey, I couldn't help noticing one of your favorite movies is "Same Time Next Year." I love that movie! I need to put it in my profile. I could watch that movie over and over again. Oh, now I want to see it!

We are hot here too, but it being June we are supposed to be (often this 100 degree weather starts in May, this year it waited til June), I am a whiner, and I don't like hot. (when a friend suggested we join them in the local lake I jumped at the chance, I'm feeling I might just need another trip) Don't get too hot, its not fun.
lol! The dog days of summer!
We have fairly mild summers. Rarely do we ever get temps above 90 in the summer. Last year we only turned our evaporative cooler for a couple day all summer. We just didn't need it.
This years seems to be the same. It gets hot in the 80's during the middle of the day and then by 3pm it cools down again into the 70's.
I love summer in the mountains. :)
Stay cool. I don't envy you the humidity and heat, but sometimes I do envy your rains. :)
