Thank you all for making me laugh, making me feel important and even, sometimes, making me cry. You have been my anchor in many storms, my shoulder to cry on and my cheering section when I needed encouragement.
Yes, these are crocuses, a sure sign of spring trying to break out of the brown and white we are all tired of seeing.
These are the deer who trimmed the tulips last night.
The Kubota excavated dry creek channeled the three inch rain we had in one day and it did not threaten Marcy's house. The ponds are full once again and the green is beginning to show. I am hopeful spring is almost here but the biggest snow (eighteen inches) I remember arrived in late March. Egg production is increasing.
The new calves are tagged and tattooed.

Gail, lots of great signs for spring for sure. Those darn dear and their love of bulbs. Glad the rain was managed. Happy Sunday, Amy
That is a lot of posts...congrats...and i am totally jealous about spring...we got another ten inches of snow friday with five more on the way to day...enjoy the beauty...
Ah yes, deer are such helpful gardeners! We will be doing battle with them at our new house.
Thanks for the crocuses. Yeah spring!
Oh, I forgot...congrats on 1200 posts! You are a prolific blogger!
That little dog has really won your heart, hasn't she? (And I think your readers are pretty fond of her, too.)
=)
Wow...twelve hundred! Congrats to you Gail! This is one of my favorite blogs to visit daily. I so enjoy your posts and writings! =)
No crocus blooming here! =( Lots of snow tho!
Those deer sure can be pesky. I remember one time when living in Idaho, I planted an entire flower bed full of Pansy's. They were so pretty and I was so proud. I got up the next morning and all that was left were stems! The deer had come by and eaten every single flower off the plants!
Ki is precious!
Happy Sunday to ya!
Congratulations on 1,200 posts, Gail. That's terrific. I haven't managed that yet, but I'm working on it.
Too bad about the tulips and those horrible deer. It's so sad that they took all the color out of your garden. You'll have to plant brambles.
Thank goodness for Ki Anne and her happy face. She's enough to make your heart melt.

Congratulations on all the posts! That's great. :-)
Glad to hear about the ditch working. Just in time, it seems.
And thanks for all the pictures, too, Gail. Have a great week! ♥
I suppose it is illegl to shoot the deer.
My mum grew corn, and the kangaroos ate them in Australi.

things will get green again.
Congrats on 1200 wow!
I can't wait to see crocuses. The ground was bare for 1 day in PA and then snow covered again. With church I was too busy today to check, but I think the ground is again bare on the West side of our house where they come up first. I can't wait to see if anything is coming up tomorrow. I was thinking about signs of spring. What came to mind were worms on the sidewalks and mud. We only have mud so far though :)
I know, I've met a lot of cool people since I started doing the blog. Like you. I wish we all lived near each other in "real life!"
Yes, spring is coming! Today I weeded!
1,200 way to go Gail! The crocus look so pretty! Those *&^%$ deer..eating your tulips..they have eaten all of mine over the years too..I finally gave up planting tulips:)
Ahhhh, first tulips now crocuses...I am truly green with envy!!! My green thumbs are quiverin'! Heeehehehe!!!
Felt that 11:00 pm quake last night! I sat up in bed and asked hubs, "did ya feel that." With a snort and a raspy voice he answered, "did I feel what?" He was asleep. What can I say...the man sleeps through tornadoes. Someday he's gonna wake up hangin' in a tree! :o)
God bless and have a glorious week sweetie!!
I miss being on a farm in spring and summer. Time of growth and sunshine...
