Interesting dam photo - don't know if I want to travel on the road this close to the dam - that's when it would probably leak. ha,ha The last photo reminds me of our area here and looks like HOME. There must be a picnic area there, possible even a place for camping, because it is soooo pretty.
I've never seen a road so close to the dam unless it went on the top. We always have a spillway area where people like to fish too. I think that is why the bend to the right in your road, to go around the fishing area. .. BTW, Mrs. Jim said she wouldn't clean the turtles I catch so we won't be eating any very soon. ..
You got me with the first shot of the sun on the water. By your last photo I am ready to pack things up and head to the lake. Definitely wish I was there.

Gail, do you live near Lake Norfork. I live near Lake Norfork. I know exactly where you took those pictures. We go to that very spot, pretty often.
