Old Cars and Grumpy Travelers...

Russell's was a wonderful stop...a free museum with a cafe and gas station all in one spot on the famous old Route 66.  Not a planned stop but rather just one of those accidental  surprises along the way.
lots of memories for us old folks
Beautiful vehicles
with new memories in the making
And a great place to eat 50's style.

Yep, they don't make cars like that anymore. Now a days they are all ugly, small windows, sloped back, ugly headlights - most just want to make you barf; they're so ugly. Now give me one of those olde cars with style and I'll be happy What a wonderful place to stop by - bet Andrew n TM were happy :)

Oh wow, that is so cool. I couldn't normally care less about cars but there is something about the vintage ones I fall in love with.

Looks like you are having a great trip. Doesn't it just seem like yesterday when the highways and biways were filled with those now vintage models? Where does the time go?

Enjoy!
