Hubby does the bush hogging around the shop and some road work when needed. This year he took the disc to her garden spot that is close enough to see customers when they pull in for shopping.
He added some top soil and disc that in the mix.
The soil is a little richer so I hope her garden does well this year. When there are no customers she tends her garden. The customers seem to enjoy seeing her working. One customer asked me, "Is that your sister I see folded up like a little Vietnamese lady pulling grass?" Yep, that's my sister.

Nice "deed" Mr Orange Tractor Man!
Folded up like a little Vietnamese lady pulling grass - priceless!
if i ever get beamed there to meet all of you, i want to ride or drive that big tractor.. that kind of work looks like fun to me
Oh, how sweet. You folks are super nice!
I would be doing the same thing if I could right now already lol ! I love gardening be it flowers or veggies . Lovely photos . in the middle of a mixed rain storm for us here today . Thanks for sharing Have a good day !
Chuckled out loud reading that customer's question. I love to watch people gardening, too, even though I can't do it myself. I have lupus and can't be in the sun any more, which is something I really miss. Maybe that's one of the reasons I enjoy your wanderings on the farm so much.
=)
What a sweetie you hubby is. It is amazing the work big machinery can do that would take a woman and a shovel forever. Loved the description of your sister. She must be a hard worker.
Nice job, can you send him down my way. I have an area that needs tending too in the garden, :-)
It is good to see Tractor Man out doing his thing. Again...you make a good team over there.
Bill & I did some clean up while he has been home. He pruned the Peach tree, Rose of Sharon, and some bushes. Then we mulched the wood and spread it. Now we have winds 40 MPH+, again. So...we have to find other things to do...there are so many.
Enjoy the gardening! And each other. Hugs.
That was nice of your hubby. Hope her garden grows well with the new top soil.

Hey ... I've just about caught up with all your recent posts!
The days and weeks go by so quickly and I always enjoy my visits to your blog.
Good job, well done here. I'm sure the garden will do well.
Enjoy the rest of your week
All the best Jan
Nice tractor! I love that description - folded up.
It sounds like you have a family that has a strong bond. I hope the garden does well and needed rain and sun come your way.
What a wonderful thing to do for her, Gail! And if your hubby is like my hubby, he enjoyed every minute!...:)JP
How fun. I hope you get some of the benefit!
The love of Nature and working with it appears to run in the family, Gail. :)
It looks pretty dry there...I hope you get rain if and when you need it. I love rain!
Take care. :)
Wish I've got neighbors like you. :)
A great thing to do. Hope you are all well after this last crazy front blew through.
Blessings. ♥
Good for him! I know Beverly appreciated it. Looks like he had a good open space to work in with the tractor; that always helps.
Nice job tractor man. I can just appreciate seeing Beverly "folded up like a little Vietnamese lady pulling grass", and I am sure the customers love it. Great idea to have the garden by the shop, to tend it when not busy. Earth looks good - hope you get that rain you are waiting for. Its thundering, lightning, freezing rain and rain today....and buckets of it.
