Looks beautiful, Gail. Hubby will not go out to pick onions, or indeed even remember that we have them. He buys them at the store. :-/

We have green onions an inch or more around and flowering, haha! I am going to let them go to seed, then pull them and see if we get any baby onions.

Hope you all have a blessed weekend!

Oh goodness, I want that salad! Yummy. My garden not so good yet, but my greenhouse is coming along, have to work today, but tomorrow back to my gardens. My tulips survived (so far) from the winter moments we had this spring! Enjoy your weekend, and gardens and pups and life itself!

Food from the garden always is the best. It tastes so much better than anything you can buy in the grocery store, even the organic ones. Your photos look yummy!!!

There is absolutely nothing like a fresh picked salad. I'm not quite there yet but soon. Can't wait.

Your early garden vegetables reminded me of the wilted lettuce my mom used to make. She's pick and clean the leaf lettuce then fry a few slices of bacon. She'd remove the bacon and add vinegar and some seasoning and pour it over the lettuce. Crumble the bacon on top if desired. It was delicious. Sitting here on my sofa writing tonight I can smell and taste that delectable wilted lettuce. Yum. Thanks for the memory Gail.
