My thoughts were along the lines of Linda's! But I think that the first picture might be a gourd where the plant grew up into a tree? Could that be? Yep... fall is there. I'm hoping our snow and brief cold snap didn't ruin fall colors for us. The snow should be a thing of the past by this afternoon and we are supposed to be in the 60's and 70's the rest of the week. I love the shadows and patterns on the sunflower. Nice shot!
You can certainly tell it's fall by all those wonderful trees on the last photo. That's a lovely sight. Don't you wish it could stay that way and not turn barren? I do think that trees int he fall are something very special. Mother Nature's gift to us in one final glory.

Is that a squash in the first picture or is it just sort of shaped like one?
