a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Sometimes, I Mess Things Up.

I guess, I'm just talented that way.

During my redesign of my two, yes, two blogs, I changed the address of Familiar Spirit, sadly, I have lost many commenters.  Some think the blog is gone because the connection was changed in my ignorance to "improve" things! I am not sure if you have to re follow to make a connection...in these things, as in many, ignorance is not bliss...it's a pain!

If you are a past follower of Familiar Spirit, please try my new address...the old posts are still there.  I try to do one photo, one line a day...just a little warped animal humour if you're interested.

I can not take the credit for the redesign of my blog, except for messing up the address.  I cheated. The Blue Ridge Gal, Diane did it, I must confess.  Diane, handy as a pocket on a shirt,  helps lots of people with computer design and computer problems.  Diane has a delightful blog with great photography, two boxer dogs and a handsome husband...and sometimes she even sings for us!

Tell her, Gail sent you!  Enjoy.

I have seen this happen on several other blogs, so don't be too hard on yourself!
One good thing is that because I usually read this in my Reader, I was not familiar with your Familiar Spirits blog. Now I am!

I also am a little slow in catching up... but I am awed by your difficult decision with your beauties.

This is common. But, hopefully, you'll get back most of your commentors and many more.

Here is the problem I see, Gail. I don't think it's you. For some reason it's blogger.
I thought I had forgotten to follow it. But it says I am following it.
But I am not seeing your updates on my reading list. :|

I think I will unsubscribe and re-subscribe. Didn't realize you were still doing updates there.
Might be a lot of people haven't been seeing them. :(

*hugs* ♥

Thanks for letting me know you're still doing it!

Thanks for the info. I now hesitate to mess with my blog, for now I think I will just leave well enough alone. Have a good day.

Its blogger not you . I had the same problem a while ago , Blogger cant differ from certain things . If any follower cant see your blog they have to reset the follow on their blog in their dashboard. Blogger can be a bit of a pain but like everything else nothing is perfect! Hope all your followers figure it out or send out info vie email to them on how to re follow your blog in case they didnt know ! Have a good day !

That happened to me once, too. I changed the wording on my blog's header and fell off everyone's list. I think the wording can be changed but you have to put the new words on a photo that goes in the header. Live and learn.

I'll go back to something I said about 4 months ago....Blogger is the devil. I tried just now to rejoin Familiar Spirits because I thought I'd give that a try and Blogger tells me I am not a Google account holder???????? Well not at this moment maybe in there universe but I'll wait and hold my mouth just right and I bet in an hour I will be....or not. Don't worry my dear....it'll all work our eventually. XOXO Oma Linda

Girl, don't be hard on yourself. Blogger has tons of issues. There are time I truly think it's possessed and we need to lay hands on our computers...Heeheehhee!

God bless and have yourself a fantastic week sweetie!!! :o)

It looks good. I messed my blog up so bad I didn't think I was ever going to get it back, I had to have my daughter come over and fix it. I think it will be awhile before I try that again.

You haven't lost me, I lost me and when I get more time I'm going to check out your other blog. :)

I still love The Farm!
