a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Prayer Needed...

I am sure no one has escaped the knowledge of the great tragedy passing through New Castle and Moore Oklahoma.

There is no imagining this loss...of life, of loved ones, of property.  Please remember all in your prayers.

I have word my friend and her family close to Norman (just a skip and a hop from the center of this mess) Oklahoma are okay.  She called. Now that is a friend...in the midst of all this, she was worried that I would be worried!

Today they volunteer where they are needed.

Pray there will be more survivors and not just recovery.

Today I wept for lives lost, the young who will never grow old and the dreams that were lost in mere seconds.

God bless every one.

My heart breaks for those in the path of this monster! I have a friend who has family in Norman and Ponca City...all are okay at this time. My friends daughter just returned home a few days ago from college at OSU. They are thankful to have her here right now!

Oh and I was just sitting here wondering about you and if you were being affected by the storms? Hope all is well in your area?

My brain tries to cope with this. I can't begin to imagine the horror for the children and teachers. It is haunting. Yes, prayers, indeed.

We watched this on internet yesterday and were shocked to see entire blocks of homes flattened - there was just nothing there. Heartbreaking to see and hear this terrible tornado. Prayers to all.

I'm watching the news and seeing the devastation in Oklahoma. It is unbelievable! And those poor children and their parents! I can't even imagine! I hope when the people rebuild that the all install an underground shelter. One person mentioned that it cost 2,000. That is certainly worth it!

I join in those prayers Gail.
So sad, esp losing the children. Horrendous. We who were not there cannot imagine the experience.
All we can do is lift them up in prayer and thoughts.
Blessings to you and yours.

I am weeping, too. Haven't been able to write about it yet, but I imagine that will come.

Such heartbreaking losses for so many.
