Gray Ladies Digging

on a warm spring day
 can be taxing work.
Although extremely exciting
it is very exhausting.
Just ask me...another gray lady digging in the garden with Lil.
We were both very serious about and satisfied with our work.

Not much on digging in the dirt, but looks like your doggie is having a good time.

Ah, if we could only get them to dig where we need them to. She really got into her job.

I spent my morning chasing loose horses, and walking the back field trying to find out where and how they escaped. Then I fell on my butt in the mud. Satisfied that I was muddy enough..I limped back to the house and called it a day. The weather mongers are calling for a full week of storms and rain next week..geesh..here I was looking forward to pretty weather.
