what I could not capture with the camera. After a very dry winter the ground was sad and left wanting. March brought us greatly needed gentle rain.
Just like Dad always said there were diamonds in the grass.
If only I could have captured them .
The Dutch
and Purple Cabbage were happy and settled.
The plants held on to the drops
and bowed their heads in gratefulness.

i love the drooping head with droplets and we are hoping for droplets soon. everything loves water, every living thing. it is amazing how nature changes with just one rain.
Hello, pretty captures of the droplets. It is raining here today. The plants should be happy. Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week ahead!
Nice work capturing the droplets. My ground is purely squishy but mowing is only about a week away. Ah Spring.
your appreciation of it shines brighter than the droplets. :)
You share your soul in your writing..it never fails to touch me. You are precious, Gail!!
Getting tiny garden ready for tiny pooch..and his little companion kitten that I have had since in my 20's. They just..go together.
Wonderful captures of the wetness of spring!
Well said!
Yeah you got rain ! Lovely post and photos . Thanks for sharing , have a good day !
Very nicely said. I like the way you felt what the plants felt. The pictures are perfect, too.
Beautiful Gail . . .
Looks like you are right on the way for some successful gardening . . .

Wonderful post, Gail.
The many gifts of nature!
Good morning Gail
Wow, you've captured these perfectly, and I love that saying "diamonds in the grass."
Nature can give us so much ...
Hope you have a good Monday and a great week ahead too.
I'm sure you will be busy.
We have some nice blue skies at the moment, a glorious Spring-like day.
All the best Jan
you did and it is beautiful!! our pretty flowers and seeds, surely need the rain!!!
So beautiful! I could feel their gratitude for the rain, just as I can see the gratitude of the fat rabbits in our yard as this year green grasses have been plentiful for a change. I'm sure the coyotes are grateful as well, but that's another story! :-)
Beautiful photos, love the droplets on the plants.
