It may surprise you that I am not a fan of The Who. However, I most definitely get these lyrics. I always had musician friends and married one of them! Of course, he is a Faces fan and I am a Stones fan (as far as Brit bands). We work it out...you always have to work it out. Or there will be Blue Eyes Cryin' in the Rain.

We still have some vinyls of The Who. This song says much for many many people.

I think it was The Who the Irish girls had tickets to one of the times in Ireland.
The tickets were for the night after arrival and we turned them down . . .
So sleepy that second day it seems . . .
We have regretted that decision . . .
