a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

My Last Day Home...

I worked some around the house, read and rested before my dental appointment.  I also walked. I donned my light jacket and muck boots, camera in hand.  The air was  a little nippy but clear and fresh.
I saw beauty in the small things,
and in the far things.
We could not walk for long.
The rain returned.
The pack and I had a rousing game of football.
I believe Maggie was the high scorer.
Her defense was awesome.
The rain fell
and we returned to the warmth we call home.

Loved the post about the Hens. Poor Rooster looked beat.
KiAnne is really growing.
The pics of the rocks and grass remind me that spring really is here. Just slow making its way to our place in Ohio.
I've had my welcome spring sign out but it keeps passing us by.
Here's to warmer weather and some waling of my own.
Bless you. B

It sounds like you're enjoying yourself...well all but the dentist bit while on vacation!

As usual, I love your pictures and their captions.

I hope the visit to the dentist wasn't too bad. The rest of the day looks great. The dogs look like they had a good time. I hope you did too. Somebody should have taken your picture.

You really do have a bit of a pack going on there.

Hope the dentist wasn't too bad.

Booger if ya didn't have to go and ruin a great spell at home with a trip to the dentist. I've been heard sayin' I'd rather have a baby than go to the dentist. At 58 I might just want to rethink that one! Heeehehe!!!

God bless ya and have a great day!!!

Sounds like you had some enjoyable down time. I always find that my days off seem to go by much to fast and I never quit get done all that I want too!

I think spring is showing itself here today...temp is supposed to hit 73 and I'm stuck indoors behind a desk.

Gail..what a lovely post. I could almost feel the relaxation...the joy of being outside..and not in an office with the public. Wonderful!
