a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Saturday...

Was an amazingly beautiful day!  The air was warm, the sun was shining and green was peeking out.
We worked in mud.
The sunlight reflected off the water.
Ki explored with me.
We both got our feet wet.
Today was flip flop weather once again.
Ki had a snake/gun lesson today.
We played a little football,
and we played in dirt.
A chore done,
arrowheads discovered,
and time to play.
What could make a better day?

Saturday WAS a beautiful day there in your bit of country and in MissouREE too! Zander is growing up Gail! Don't let him do that too fast cause it means we are getting older. Bah.

What a cutie!
Mud, dirt, water and forest. Add to that a healthy does of dogs and kids. Subtract a snake. Perfect!

I can't believe you got to wear your flip flops. You're a lucky woman. It looks like you had a fun day.

All Furry Critters, one of the other blogs I follow, also posted pictures today of walking through the woods with her dogs and the running muddy creeks. We also took pictures of that as well, but I didn't put them on my blog. All of our pictures look very similar yet we live in different states!
