I saw the last of the roses here too yesterday. They were lovely orange yellow ones. They looked like they had been dipped in a can of paint. So bright and lovely. It's a shame to see them go.
Oh my, love a parade. Your roses are delightful. Does your sister cut them all the way back in winter? I am debating getting a rose plant for us here in Nebraska. I think I will go to a nursery in the next town and find out about it. I want a yellow rose for the front facing south.

Very pretty! We've never been able to grow roses at our place so I really envy those who can. :)
When I see roses, I think of my mother. She loved roses and always had them planted around the house.
Thanks for the memory.

Beautiful roses, Gail! Years ago, I planted a few rose bushes, but they didn't do very well, so I really admire yours!
