a tale of tails, tenacity, and tedium, as told by me, usually barefoot and bellowing

Too Much To See...

One thing a farm dog must do is keep an eye on everything.
They have to make sure all is well At The Farm.
Sometimes, it like watching a tennis match.
There are animals in every direction
and on a lazy day,
you just watch...
and see what you can see.

They look like great guard dogs, ready to protect their property! But would they lick a human intruder to death, or bare their teeth?

Lots of critters to keep them busy! Almost didn't see that turkey!

Happy Sunday to ya!

I'm sure those guys earn their keep. There is a lot for them to care for on your farm. Good boys!

That turkey sure blends in! Our two dogs do much the same, look after the Acreage.

That turkey sure does blend in! Boots and Brooklynn also spend a lot of time keeping an eye on things.

Tyke has the same urges, but he is a city dog. No animals for him to guard and keep a watchful eye out for. That turkey sure blends in well. Did Marcy spot him?

I love those pictures! We see deer rarely here now, not like when we first moved here... and we see turkey even more rarely... I think Lilly Ann has something to do with that!
