A Rain!!!!

The worst drought since 1937 has affected many states.  Stockman are selling out and farm are drying up.  Tuesday we received a great blessing.
My youngest grandson and daughter running
through the beautiful rain.
From my porch
I captured the downpour.
I did not measure it.
I only said, Thank you.

I'm so happy you're getting rain, hopefully enough but not to much that causes flooding.
Your daughter and Zander look like their having a blast running in the rain.

Great that you are receiving the rain you have been waiting for. Hope you get enough to get everything back on track. Love the photo of the kids playing in the rain. I remember doing that. We have been caught out in the rain more than once, while walking - so you get wet, come home and put something dry on. Feels great and refreshing to be poured down on. ha,ha

I am so glad you got rain. It looks wonderful and refreshing and if Issac keeps moving you might get more. :)
I am always thankful for rain.

What a relief!
After driving cross-country, we are more aware than ever about the lack of rain. It was sad to see many corn fields all shriveled and dried up.

Hi Gail, i read your blog every day, i am sorry i do not comment regular.
I am pleased your sister is making a good recovery. Are you enjoying retirement? You sound like you are keeping busy on the farm.Today in little England the weather was chilly, it felt like autumn.
Best wishes jackie x

And that's why I haven't complained about the rain we've been getting this summer. We have been in a drought situation for way too long. So glad y'all got some!

Unfortunately we were not so blessed north of you my friend. We are hoping for the rain from this latest hurricane to make it's way this far north to contribute to our rainfall : )

So happy you finally go rain. I guess me standing outside naked shaking my ta-tas up and down and dancing in a circle trying to do a rain dance helped.

You're welcome.
