I love new boots
That don't slide on ice
I love leg warmers
And flannels.
I love ice on cedars
And diamonds on fences
I love feeding cattle
Who don't care
What I wear
I love new damp babies
Big brown baby eyes
And tiny hooves ending
The warm fur
And the promise of sun.

I bet the cows think you are styling in those boots!
my kinda love poem, too.
Love! Small glimpses of the possible on a farm with perfect photos. I can see the love and walk around in it wearing the best boots.
What a wonderful collection of things to be thankful for!
Love the pics . . . oh and the promise of sun.
A lovely poem illustrated by beautiful photos! It is so good when we are able to count our blessings.

I want some
I love your Love Poem. Your Pink Wellies are so cool!
I love those same things!
Just lovely and I love how pretty everything is and nothing is prettier than a new calf.
Right on! I love what you love!
I do have to admit I don't get the opportunity to really love cows, but I know I would if I could...
And I love your poem. You are so lucky to have brown baby cows!
Love the cows and your boots, and love that cows don't care about what you wear.
You have to love them. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to generate the motivation to go out and feed them as forty below zero.
I am in love with your pink gum boots..:)
Maybe you are really a Cowboy Poet.
You look and sound just like a regular olde Maritime Gal. Beautiful Photos Gail - Love the new little calf n especially love your boots n legwarmers n flannels. WOW you got ice on your cedars just like ours in our ice storm - hope all is back to normal or somewhat normal with that sun peeking through after the storm. It snowed all day here yesterday and last night, but not a real bad storm - beautiful out today. Hi to everyone, glad Marcy liked the photo, hugz to all. Have a good one:)
love your visuals to accompany your words of love. boots, calves, diamonds of ice are all so special.
