Leaving town
Lake Norfork
Dam road
I suction cupped myself to the truck seat and buckled in 'cause Hubby was having fun with me. He had to check if the road was slick. He had to see how far he could go up a hill in two wheel drive. He had to find the edge of the road.
I addressed Hubby with his full name many times. He would just laugh and demonstrate the difference between positive track and four wheel drive. He even tried to teach me how to drive out of a spin/slide.
We are home again safe and sound.
The passenger side of the truck has been cleaned.
I'm still not talking to him!
His heart check up came out well but I think I am having trouble after that ride!

I already know what happens, which is why I stay home!
Hahaha! Boys never outgrow their love of adventure... and tormenting girls! Glad you both arrived home in one piece and that his heart check went good. Glad yours' is strong enough to withstand the ride! You can imagine the things I've said when Papa Bear takes the Ranger up and down hills with angles far exceeding recommended tilt. He loves it, me - I'm a flatlander by birth! :-)
i think i'd have killed him. :)
Your hubby is like mine when there is ice on the road.
Glad you got home safely.
Have a wonderful evening, Gail. ♥
Just looking at that road gave me shivers of fear.
Your husbands antics would have my heart in my throat .lol
Glad to hear the check up was good . I would of slapped him for that showing off on the slippery road with you in the truck lol ! Glad all are safe . Thanks for sharing . Have a good day !
Such a tease . . . Happy for the good report though!
I am so glad that you both lived to fight another day......I so know that song and dance. Men, blech!!!
oh, oh, how this reminds me of my man...now that he's fine, I'd say you can reach out and touch someone hard enough to impress a memory of your own...those guys, such jokesters.
Glad to hear all went well with the heart doctor.
I hate driving on ice. Your husband enjoyed scaring you while he drove on the ice.
It sounds to me like pay backs are coming :-)
Believe me, I can empathize.
Oh that is wonderful news and I am glad you cleaned the seat:) Hug B
Glad the checkup was good.
I would have called him something besides his full name!
Great news, Gail...first about his heart then about making it home!! I love hearing that there are "others" like the Pres...:)JP
i must say his heart would not be his biggest problem if i were in the truck. men are from mars and we all know it...cool shot of the dam road
aren't all men the same, especially when it comes to driving?
They love to scare us don't they. Had to laugh at the passenger side being cleaned!
I hate driving in weather like that, I would have been a nervous wreck! Your hubby has a wicked sense of humour.Glad the check up went well.
Lynne x
Men tend to be like that huh?! Glad you're home and safe
I hate icy road trips! Hubby never fails to try to amuse me either! I always need new shorts when we get home...LOL!
