Bonnie is not on my good side. She is a water dog. Loves hoses, any water she can find is okay with her
Bonnie sticks her head completely under the water and snuffles!
In addition to her log collection Bonnie has discovered she can remove an entire pot of water lilies and carry them. I think I will train her to harness and use her as a draft horse. She is growing in leaps and bounds.
The poor Koi, who did survive the winter by the way, are so shy they stay hidden. I can't imagine what they think when Bonnie jumps in.
For all those who have been in the middle of these storms tonight. I hope you are safe and dry. Our valley is flooded. We have had hail and have just been placed under a tornado WARNING. I wish it were safe to photograph the water in our valley tonight. Six inches of rain does a lot of damage. Hopefully we will still have a road to drive on in the morning. Hubby will be busy tomorrow repairing water gates, washed away roads, repairing fences, re installing culverts. By daylight the flood waters will have receded.
I apologize for my lack of presence here. My nephew has Bev and I hauling his items from his storage shed to the shop for sale. We have been working our behinds off. Sunday through Wednesday we haul, Thursday through Saturday we will mark and label items and place around in the shop to sale.
I can't unfold my body very easily after the abuse of packing, lifting, carrying, loading and unloading. I shall get tougher and we will get the job completed...one piece at a time.
Stay safe and be happy. Soon I will be back full force for another two thousand three hundred posts.

Congrats on all the great posts…and I hope the storm doesn't do any more damage than it already has.

Congratulations on your great number of posts. All that hard work will soon be over and you will be reaping the benefits in the sales. 6 inches of rain is a lot I know, very familiar with that amount as we go through our own wet weather too. Hope you are dry soon and best to Marcy, TM n boyz. lol
That's a lot of posts.
Hope there wasn't a lot of damage last night from the storms and tornadoes. So many people killed...
I hate tornadoes, but love your posts! Congrats!
2,300 posts, wow.....that's an awful lot to talk about :-)
Congratulations!!!!
I'm happy to hear you and yours are okay after all these storms. Don't work to hard!!!
Congrats on your super number of posts. You always have something interesting to share and today is no exception. The "pup" is getting to be a bigun. And I'm sure the koi are a little shell shocked when she joins them.
I sure do hope you are safe and dry. The winds were horrible here for the past few days and I always know it's gonna gain momentum and velocity when I gets to your neck of the woods. Be safe
I was hoping you were all safe. Don't work too hard and the news said that tornado hit late. If you can let me know if you are okay. Praying for Arkansas.
you're a couple hundred posts ahead of me. i'm over 2000+.
hoping you escaped damage! we only had two mild thunderstorms pass through here yesterday and actually very little rain.
Hi Gail, Just checking to make sure your alright ?
When I heard Arkansas on the news this morning I thought of you! Six inches of rain! Those storms were just awful. The front is supposed to be here tomorrow with severe weather.Bonnie is a cutie pie!
I guess they better run, Bonnie is ready to go fishing! What a marvelous job on posts! Bravo, and just imagine how much money it would be!
The storm put on quite a show coming through here this morning but I'm sure it was nothing compared to what you guys had. I hope there wasn't too much damage and that everyone is ok. Your dog makes me smile, the poor carp. :)
Oh I know all about packing, toting and lifting...take your time, unless the dog becomes harnessed!...:)JP
That's a lot of writing... and responding!
We drove through tornado damage from the monster storms in 2011. I can't imagine facing such unpredictable weather with the potential for such destruction. Scary stuff.
Congratulations on the posts!
Wow! that was a lot of rain; we haven't had one of those in a very long time. I know it creates a lot of extra work for you all but the water is a blessing.
Just wait until Bonnies begins to catch the fish.........
