to enable her to take flight from this perfect stump Hubby found.
Turning her carefully we hold our breath. Placing her in the right spot was important. Andrew and Hubby knew and were very gentle with the placement.
For now she rests ready to take flight waiting for me to give her wings.
Even with my extra pieces piled on top when I wet the stump beneath she became more real.
It will be a challenge helping her escape.

Wow, she's going to be huge!
In that position, I can see a rider on the neck of the dragon.
Wow, I see all kinds of shapes. Cool stump!
I love that you can see shapes in the branches....people think I'm a nut case when I point out the ostrich tree, the tree frog tree, the squealing pig tree etc....and these are all out my front window. Can't wait to see how the dragon eventually takes flight.
she is beautiful just like she is,. and my question is HOW do you know it is a SHE? good luck with your tree sculpting..
You have a great eye and capture it all. I remember when you first found this and the stump is beautiful and a great place with which to take off in flight. Great job all of you. lol
Excellent work....I would never have come up with such an idea.
Wow that is so awesome Gale. Just incredible.
I see a rider, too, holding on to the neck. Or perhaps a nymph aiding with the escape. :)
What a great hubby to bring the perfect perch for your dragon!

Interesting:)
Well, this is going to be a creative endeavor, isn't it? It'll be fun to see what you make of "her".
REALLY COOL!
She's very grand looking up there on that stump.
And her name? You must let her tell you her name. I have come to feel I know her.
This is awesome! I love what you are doing with/for her!!
